HOW IT WORKS

LipoSelection by VASER combines new technology with advanced surgical techniques. The VASER System uses ultrasound energy to break up and emulsify fat, leaving surrounding tissue relatively intact.

After using anesthesia that may be general, local, or local with IV sedation, Dr. Carney will create a tiny incision in the area to be treated. The targeted area is then filled with a special saline solution to make it easier to emulsify the fatty tisssue with the VASER® System’s ultrasound energy.

WHERE IT WORKS

Unwanted fat can be efficiently removed from abs, arms, back, hips, knees, love handles, neck and chin, saddlebags, thighs – any place you’ve developed a little “extra cushioning.”

AFTER TREATMENT

Medical professionals report few complications and a low need for re-treatments due to the greater control and precision of the LipoSelection procedure.

You will wear a compression garment home from the procedure and for a period ranging from 2-6 weeks post-operatively, depending upon the body area(s) treated and the amount of fat removed. This will provide you with comfort and support, and will help your skin settle to your new contours.
