Injectable Therapy

“The age I looked on the outside didn’t reflect how I felt inside. I heard about injectables therapy at The Carney Center and thought this was a great option since I didn’t need surgery just yet. Best decision – love it!”*

– Denise R., Virginia Beach, VA

As many of us can attest, time, sunlight and other factors cause our skin to lose volume, eventually causing lines and wrinkles to appear. At the Carney Center, we offer a comprehensive array of injectable fillers to help smooth lines, enhance facial features and allow for a more youthful appearance. Contact us for an appointment to discuss which one is right for you – and ask about manufacturer rewards programs, too!

Want young looking, wrinkle-free skin? Try Radiesse, an injectable treatment that helps reduce the appearance of well-defined wrinkles and creases stimulates production of your own natural collagen. Comprised of calcium hydroxylapatite, this filler lasts approximately one to two years and provides immediate results.

Sculptra provides a noticeable, natural-looking appearance that emerges subtly and can last up to 2 years. Often referred to as a liquid facelift, Sculptra stimulates collagen, restores volume, and refines lines.

These are all safe injectable treatments that add volume lost during the aging process by temporarily smoothing out facial lines and wrinkles. Each treatment uses a non-animal clear gel, containing a purified form of hyaluronic acid, a natural sugar found in all living cells. It is injected just under the surface of the skin and lasts six to twelve months depending on the area treated.

The first and only FDA-approved non-resorbable wrinkle filler for the correction of smile lines. Immediate, visible results with no downtime; a simple in office procedure; excellent safety profile; results improve over the course of several months and stand the test of time; usually requires only one or two treatments. Skin testing is required 30 days before treatment.

Botox is a prescription drug made from a toxin and was initially used clinically for the treatment of neurological disorders such as migraines and muscle spasms. The Food and Drug Administration has now approved its use for cosmetic purposes.

The Carney Center Available by prescription only, this popular drug offers a safe and effective way to reduce and smooth facial lines by weakening the muscles that cause frowning.

Studies revealed that the severity of the frown lines in patients injected with Botox was reduced for up to 120 days. The FDA recommends that Botox only be injected once every three months, using the lowest effective dosage.

When making the decision to have Botox treatments, experience is the key word to remember. Patients at The Carney Center can rest assured that Dr. Carney is not only highly qualified to perform the procedure but has the experience of many years with this drug to ensure safe and successful results. Dr. Carney has been utilizing Botox injections for over 10 years on thousands of patients.
