Depending upon the extent of the surgery, the procedure takes between one and two hours. If all four eyelids are combined with the forehead lift, the procedure will take approximately two hours.

After surgery, cool compresses are placed over the eyes, and a headband or dressing is placed around the forehead and scalp to minimize swelling. You will be able to go home, where you should rest with your head elevated.
